Wiener Schnitzel and warm Kartoffelsalat. Two recipes that were made for the same plate — golden, crisp veal and a creamy sweet-sour potato salad, with nothing more than a lemon wedge between them.
The potato salad does its resting while you flatten and coat the veal, so the two land on the table together: the schnitzel straight from the pan, the salad just warm. Add a green salad with vinaigrette if you want something fresh alongside.
